Dr. Katy Miller
Dr. Miller (she/they) is a pediatrician and adolescent medicine specialist at Children’s Minnesota in Minneapolis. She loves being active and breaking down stereotypes about what people in larger bodies can accomplish. When she’s not at work, she’s probably kayaking, hiking or walking with her wife, son, and two very naughty rescue dogs.

Sarah Espinoza, PhD
Dr. Espinoza (she/her) is a research fellow and incoming Assistant Professor in the University of Minnesota Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Health. Her research interests center on youths’ psychological and social experiences in sport and physical activity. Sarah loves to play ultimate frisbee, rock climb, ski, do Move and Thrive videos, and try new things.

Laura Hooper, MS, RD, PhD (C)
Laura Hooper (she/her) is a registered dietitian and researcher at the University of Minnesota. Her research addresses disordered eating and weight-related health in adolescents, including the role of weight stigma, food insecurity, and structural racism. Future research will focus on strengths-based, youth-engaged approaches to this work. Laura loves cycling, hiking, stand-up paddleboarding, cooking, and spending time with her family in the Pacific Northwest.
